Welcome to the home of Wedding and Portrait Photography, a sister site and part of Groundbase Photography.

We hope that we offer a wedding service with a difference.

 

Building on the success of our aerial photography model, we have, after requests from clients started taking commissions for portrait and wedding photography in the Plymouth area.

Why are we different. Well hopefully we are cheaper in price than many photographers. Does that mean we compromise quality and time . No.

Let’s face it, you have paid a fortune in wedding costs, deposits etc. One further expensive outlay is the photographer. He/She comes to your house to discuss different packages, mostly with Printing costs and albums included in his/her quote. All need paying for before the wedding or shortly after the happy event.

This is where we are different. We have 3 packages, Service Only, Service and Reception and last but not least Full Day.
Our prices reflect the photographers time, and if required any editing of the pictures. That’s it in a nutshell.

What about Printing and the Wedding Album.
As in Groundbase photography we have decided to supply all photos on a CD, we will also place your photographs in our free client area of the website. The route to your photographs will then be available to all your guests. They will be able to view and purchase photos from us, at their cost, not yours. The beauty of this system is that they will be able to view and order while your away on your honeymoon – At no cost to you

The photos that we supply to you on CD can be viewed and selected by yourself , Then when YOU are ready you can take the CD to many High Street Stores and print out, or even use any online service.
The pictures are of high quality and resolution, which means that you will be able to ‘blow up’ your favourite picture to A2 size and even have it converted to a Canvas Print.

However if you still want us to print, no problem. When you have selected the number, size and format of the pictures, let us know and we will provide a price.

 

If the venue allows, why not have a different 'Group Photo' from above. As part of Ground base we can offer this service for only a little extra.

A Mast Based Aerial Photography System, allowing Estate Agents, Insurance Companies etc. a unique visual perspective of the property. Allowing the surrounding area/buildings to be photographed. For extra height we even have a hot air balloon.

Strange as it seems we started doing Portrait and Wedding Photography at the request of our customers. The reason this is strange is that most photographers set out to do weddings. We didn't , we specialised in Aerial Photography. It was these customers in question that we had already done work for. Delighted with our results the question would be asked. " I know someone who is getting married, do you do weddings" . Or the client from the company would enquire if we did Portraits for the team members of that company. For the first few years in business we had always said no.

Why change our minds.

We did get asked from a family member to take the Portraits of their children. As a favour we said yes. Everyone was pleased with the results. The obvious thing next was a family wedding. Again this was done and again all were pleased with the results.

We enjoyed the events and the experience. So much so that we decided to start. After all we have the equipment, the experience and the knowhow. We believe that we put the Bride, Groom and guests at their ease and all enjoy the pictures.
